Problem: Less and Less Hot Water: Sediment continuously builds up in the bottom of the water heater. This acts as an insulator between the heat source and the water. This wastes energy and will shorten the life of the heater. The solution to minimize this effect is to maintain a schedule of flushing out the heater, approximately every six months. |
